Today morning when i got up my bed and thought about the day I felt bored and thought of travelling somewhere around Chennai. As most of my friend have gone to their native places, I was not sure how the travel would be, a lonely drive is always tough in any case. But I felt there must be something interesting and decided to start by afternoon. Among the list of places around Chennai, I felt Mamallapuram through ECR should be the place to visit and read about various places around Mamallapuram before leaving home. By 2.30 pm I started from my home carrying a water bottle in my bag and a camera. While leaving my home itself I was very sure that the trip would be an interesting and joyful one as it was actually. Within 20 minutes I hit the ECR. The ride in sea breeze was awesome. It was very wonderful and I was very thrilled to enjoy the rest in my path. The traffic was bit worry till Mayajaal because of Vinayagar Chathurthi Oorvalam and after that I was able to drive bit freely hitting 80 Km/H. After crossing the city, I had a tender coconut and faced a board saying 39 KMs to reach Mamallapuram. After crossing Muttukkadu Boat house, I wanted enjoying the scenary than racing so was steadily riding in 50Km/H.
I was attracted by a solitary palm tree on the banks of back water lake. The path from road to that place was very dirty and tough but I decided to spend sometime there. It was really a nice place. On the other bank of the lake there was a resort and the view from my side was great. I tried capturing that but to my camera's eye it didnt look nice. Then welcomed by the hands of silver oaks on both sides of the road. I thought of spending sometime there but couldnt as they were all occupied by diffent groups of people all consuming liquor and all. So saying bad luck to me, I continued my ride and halted in a Tourism dept run Drive-Inn. I had some cool drinks and there was few stone benches for enjoying the sea breeze and an wonderful scenary of Oak trees and sea in the background. After riding sometime I was invited by the Welcome board of Tiger Caves. Wow! what a place it is! Green everywhere with huge rock caves here and there and some wonderful Rock sculptures attracting eyes. Among the rock sculptures, I found two are very cute and great skilled work. The first one is a Siva temple of a single rock. It was a huge rock carved skillfully to three rooms and in the middle there is a Lingam. There was a board saying to not take the photograph of that siva lingam. The next one is bit more interesting. A huge rock resembling a tiger in elevation but in the rear, it was carved have many tiger heads. The another most important thing about the place is you cant just leave the place without saying about sound of sea waves colliding the rocks. Unbelievable sight! Green everywhere but when i stepped in further, there was a beach. I spent time long time sitting in the green grass listening the waves. Now and then Minas were making sound and that all made me feel heaven. I found the tiger caves is not having a proper bus stop and hence there is not much croud..Infact no crowd was very good for me to enjoy the place. I left the place by 6 pm and reached Mamallapuram finally :) As it was getting darker I was not able enjoy the sculpures fully but made an oath to come back soon exclusively to Mamallapuram. I then sat in the beach for sometime eating lays, Masala Kaju and Sprite.
I finally left Mamallapuram beach by 7 and reached home by 9pm after having dinner in OMR Nallas Appakadai. It was really wonderful. I never felt tired of riding bike for the total of 118 Kms up and down. It was full of enjoyment. It is really a very happy and unforgettable trip than I assumed how it would be at the beginning of the trip. Oh now only I am feeling pain in my palm and fingers. Some poto shots are here

Diamond days at Nellai..!!
On sunday night me along with my friends Annamalai, Ashok, Chennappan, Sairam, Vinodh started our journey by train to Nellai to visit Chennappan's home. We reached his home by 11.30pm and had dinner at mid night. Next morning we started from home by 5.30 am to Babanasam and spent more than two hours there. We were accompanied by a Babanasam guy and he took to a place very close to dam shutters where we were not even able to swim against the water flow. It was really a wonderful experience. Then we went to Karaiyar and then visited Pana Theertham by travelling in a boat from karaiyar where the Tamirabarani river reaches the plains for the first time from mountains. Then we visited Agasthiar falls and returned back Nellai on that evening. Then me, Sairam along with Chennappan went to our friend Jaya's home. Jaya served us snacks. Her parents were more friendly and we had a nice chat with them.
On the next day we visited Nellaiappar temple and krishnapuram temple. The trip was really wonderful and we all enjoyed a lot.
One thing I cant forget at anytime is the way we spent days at chenni's home. We felt like we were staying at our home. We ate well there:-). His parents and grand father all took special care on each of us and we must thank them for making the days memorable diamond days with their love and care.

Amicizia'08--celebrating friendship..!
We are celebrating our hostel final years day Amicizia'08 on 5th and 6th this month. We are celebrating the final year's day for the first time in our hostel and it is really enjoyable. Various contests are conducted among the final years and the highlight s the dance show under lights on saturday night. Many of our final year students danced and the dance by Habib of civil department attracted all. He danced like all the tamil heroes right from Shivaji, MGR to Rajini, Kamal, Bagyaraj and vijay, Ajith. It was really a wonderful performance.
In that show I danced for the first time on the stage. I was sitting and enjoying the show. Suddenly our General Rep Navin announced my name as the next dancer going to dance. They played songs from 23rd pulikesi and Aaru films. I moved here and there and tried putting some steps. I really enjoyed that experience. It was a sweet moment to be remembered for long time.
On sunday morning i was the judge for dumb charades. It was jolly to see friends acting on the stage. In the last few days i found many things going wrong in my way and this break really helped me to forget those things:-)

eventful day@tce..!
Today was one of the most enjoyable days at my college. In morning we conducted the valedictory function of our ComputerScience&Engineering Association(CSEA). The chief guest was Mr.R Ganesh, Project Leader, TCS, Chennai. He is a leading expert in j2ee and other various technologies and our college alumnus too. He addressed the problems related to communication gap among the students from the south of TamilNadu. Our staff advisor Mr. Shivakumar read the annual report of our association. After that Prizes were distributed to all the winners of various events organized by CSEA. Now i am no longer a General Secretary and at this time I would like to thank all the final years who gave me this wonderful opportunity to lead the association and supported me in all the hurdles during this period. It was a great experience to organize various events for juniors and TecUthsav'08 along with my friends. We enjoyed as well as learnt a lot while organizing such events. I also like to thank another GS SaiKrishna and treasurer VinodhKumar for making my path easier these days. I never faced any misunderstanding problems with them and I feel it was great to work with these guys.
Another important thing happened today was we went college wearing our batch dresses. We enjoyed the well taking photos, cutting cakes at canteen, written scribbles in other's shirts and finally trear at Aarthy Drive Inn Restaurant by BalajiShrinivas. We had great fun there..finally ended the day by taking potos with Balaji's mom and das @ aarthy..really a wonderful day.potos here..
